Hello and welcome! I am so glad you found your way here. If you have noticed your child struggling and feel like you have exhausted all avenues, it is time to discover a new path towards a happier child and a more connected family. I am here to help and support your child with whatever they might be struggling with and work with you to find solutions to help them feel better. I am dedicated to providing a safe place to help your child feel seen, heard, and to feel better.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapist, I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and parents. My training and clinical experience includes utilizing talk, play, and expressive arts in counseling to work with children and teens experiencing low self esteem, depression, anxiety, family changes, divorce, grief, and trauma. I firmly believe that helping a child heal is only part of the equation; it’s equally important to empower parents with the tools and support they need to sustain positive changes and feel confident in their parenting journey.
I earned my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Texas and my bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Child and Family Studies from Baylor University. When I am not working with clients, you can find me on a run, reading a book, or redecorating my house.
