Healing from trauma can feel overwhelming. You may carry feelings of shame, guilt, or disconnection, and at times it might seem hard to imagine things could be different. Many of the people I work with come to therapy longing for clarity, a sense of safety within themselves, and relief from the weight of the past. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling stuck in patterns shaped by the past, struggling with shame, fear, or self-doubt. Together, we work to gently untangle those patterns and create space for healing and growth.

I utilize Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and have completed
advanced trainings in the PRECI protocol and EMDR 2.0. With the PRECI protocol, I support
clients who have gone through a recent traumatic experience, offering care that can ease the intensity of those early reactions and help keep them from becoming long-term struggles. With EMDR 2.0, I use strategies that gently engage and challenge the brain’s working memory so that stuck traumatic memories can be processed in a way that often feels quicker and lighter, with less overwhelm.

I offer intensive EMDR sessions for clients who want to move through the healing process in a more focused way and reduce or prevent symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). My approach is attachment-focused, somatic, and nervous system-informed. I also draw from Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed therapy, which gently supports you in getting to know the different parts of yourself that developed in response to trauma. Because I’m also a Registered Yoga Teacher, I integrate mindfulness, self-compassion practices, and body-based awareness when they feel supportive.

In our work together, we may focus on:

  • Exploring and healing the wounds that continue to impact you in the present
  • Calming the body’s survival responses so you feel more at ease
  • Building inner resources for self-soothing and resilience
  • Reconnecting with your authentic self and strengthening your relationships

Therapy with me is not about rushing or forcing change, but about creating the space to gently unravel what feels too heavy to carry alone. Whether you are working through long-standing trauma or the aftermath of a recent event, I would be honored to support you in your healing journey.
