Experiencing trauma often leaves you grappling with feelings of shame, guilt, unworthiness, and disconnection from yourself and others. Many of my clients come to therapy looking for clarity and healing from past wounds. They want to make sense of their emotions, understand how their past impacts their present, and finally feel at peace. I’m here to help you explore all parts of yourself with compassion, curiosity, and even a touch of humor to help lighten the load along your path to healing.

As an EMDR-trained therapist with advanced experience, I use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy to help clients process and heal from deeply rooted trauma. EMDR is a powerful, evidence-based approach that allows the brain to reprocess distressing memories, reducing their emotional charge and creating space for healing. I also incorporate Parts Work (Internal Family Systems-informed therapy) to help clients understand and heal the different aspects of themselves that have developed in response to trauma.

In addition to standard EMDR, I am trained in the PRECI protocol, a specialized EMDR-based intervention designed to help survivors of recent traumatic events. The PRECI protocol can be highly effective in:

✔ Preventing long-term PTSD symptoms by addressing trauma early
✔ Reducing distress and emotional overwhelm in the immediate aftermath of an event
✔ Helping survivors regain a sense of stability and control after trauma
✔ Supporting the nervous system in regulating and integrating the experience

My approach is attachment-focused, somatic, and nervous system-informed, incorporating mindfulness, self-compassion, and mind-body techniques to support deep healing. I provide a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your experiences at your own pace.

Together, we will:
✔ Identify and heal past wounds that continue to impact your present
✔ Work towards reducing trauma-related symptoms like anxiety, hypervigilance, and  emotional dysregulation
✔ Strengthen your ability to self-soothe and develop emotional resilience
✔ Reconnect with your authentic self and build fulfilling relationships

I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from UNT Dallas and am also a Registered Yoga Teacher, allowing me to incorporate mind-body practices to support deep healing.

If you’re ready to break free from the past or need support after a recent traumatic event, I would be honored to walk alongside you in this journey. Schedule a consultation today to see how EMDR therapy, Parts Work, and Somatic Interventions can help you heal and move forward with clarity and confidence.
